Cliffs of Moher
Day 7 is mostly spent at the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare. 700,000 people a year visit them, so they're building a whole visitor center and steps all along it so those who aren't daring can still see them. Definitely worth a visit.
Adrienne was more comfortable on the farm side of the cliffs...although that cow doesn't look happy to see us.
Adrienne gets more and more comfortable with the cliffs. See that slope in the center picture? It drops off abruptly and goes down 800 feet...so stay on the narrow path, ok? It took a lot of persuation to get her to peer off the side.

There's two parts to the Cliffs of Moher: the safe tourist part, and the part where you can die. Fortunately since they have this helpful sign (near right) I knew not to fall off the cliffs.
Clockwise from bottom right: 1. O' Briens Tower, the closest we could get to it due to construction; 2. Facing south, O'Briens Tower at the top of the cliff; 3. Facing north; 4. Facing north on our way back to the car, another structure in the distance (it's VERY far away, as we found out (that's Doug standing in front of it above)); 5. Facing north; 6. Some weird rocks near the south end.
Adrienne liked these birds:
