Clifden is in a part of Ireland called Connemara . On day 9 we finally get some real
rain...but only 4 hours of it (below left, at Connemara
National Park). It clears up (below right).
Connemara National Park is home to the Connemara Ponies, the only
pure bred horses native to Ireland. All they seemed to do is eat grass though. Boring.
That night we went to EJ King's in Clifden and got our dose of live Irish music before resting up at the
hotel for a long drive back to Dublin.
